Who is the Youth Conference for?

It’s for anyone from 5th year at school to 30 years of age who consider themselves to be youthful!

What’s so good about it?

The Youth Conference never fails to deliver outstanding teaching, heartfelt worship, amazing fellowship and delicious food and this year is on course to deliver more of the same in a new location!

The Grace of God

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so no one can boast”

Our speaker this year is Rev. Mark Johnston from Grove Chapel in London who will be speaking to us on the topic of Grace.  A lot of us struggle with taking theology and biblical doctrine and applying this to everyday Christian living. Mark intends to address these issues by breaking down this important topic into three main talks; Created in Grace, Saved in Grace and Sanctified in Grace.

Location, location, location!

Following the success of last year, the Youth Conference is returning to Lendrick Muir SU Centre. Lendrick Muir is a beautiful house in Rumbling Bridge, near Kinross. For those of you who came last year will know, the whole centre is a real treat with plenty of activities on offer! The centre is surrounded by 120 acres of open fields and woodland just waiting to be explored.

When will all this take place?

Friday 21st – Monday 24th March 2008.

How do I make sure I don’t miss out?

As always, spaces are limited book early to avoid disappointment! Your space won’t be reserved until the booking secretary, Iain Meredith, has received your cheque. For more information about booking, you can email Iain at iain.meredith@bigfoot.com

The weekend costs £55 for Students and £65 for Workers.  However, this year for the first time we are offering an EARLY BIRD incentive.  If you get your booking form and cheque in before 31st January 2008 students go for £50 and workers for £55. Please make your cheques payable to Free Church Youth Conference.

If you can’t stay for the whole weekend then that is ok.  The cost for one night is £25 and if you are staying two nights the cost is £45. These prices apply to students and workers. There will be no need to send a cheque until Iain confirms that you have a space at the conference. So you’ve probably worked out that you’re getting a better deal if you get in early and stay for the whole weekend anyway!

Day Visitors

For those of you who can’t stay over but would love to come along to listen to the teaching and join in the seminars then please do! It costs £10 to come along as a day visitor. This charge includes your lunch and dinner and there is no need to book in advance.

Can I find out more?
