WFM Away Day – 22 September

September 07, 2012

The next WFM away day takes place on Saturday 22 September at Smithton Culloden Free Church in Inverness.

The main address will be from Ann Benton (pictured below), who has chosen the theme “Be Still”.

Ann is an excellent speaker who is passionate about teaching the Bible to women.

The missionary speaker is Sandra MacDonald who has served with OMF International for 34 years, most of the time in Thailand.

The WFM Away Day is a biennial event that is a wonderful opportunity to meet together and to learn with other women from throughout the Free church as well as our sister churches.

The day also includes: drama, praise, crafts, a sit-down lunch, coffee and time to catch up with old friends and make some new ones.

The event begins at 10am and will finish for 4.30pm. It is £20 (£18 for students) for the day and this includes lunch.

Women of all ages are very welcome, and booking forms and posters are available here:

Previous visitors have remarked on the warmth of the fellowship, as well as the informative speakers and first class singing.

Women for Mission raises funds for mission projects which seek to offer help in areas of health, education, poverty and disaster around the world.

WFM also encourages the women of the Free Church to use their gifts to these ends, as well as facilitating prayer and support for Home and International Mission Board projects.
