Huge demand for church youth camps!

January 17, 2013

Almost 300 bookings have already been received for the 2013 Free Church of Scotland Youth Camps (FCYC) programme.

Reservations opened on Monday 14 January, and within the space of 24 hours four camps were FULL with waiting lists.

Since then, a further two camps have sold out, meaning the following are all full:

Kincraig Junior One and Two, Oswestry Junior One and Two, Whithaugh and North Uist Two.

If your preferred camp is full then your name will go on the waiting list, and someone from FCYC will contact you to discuss options.

All remaining places will now be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so please do not delay with your bookings as camps are filling up fast.

Each summer around 400 young people, from 10 to 18 years, go to camps and have a brilliant week!

Camps offer a wide variety of activities including pony trekking, watersports, football, visits to theme parks and much, much more.

All camps are run by volunteer teams from Free Church congregations and there is time set aside each day for worship and Bible study.

As always, volunteers (especially cooks!) are needed to make our camps a success, and willing applicants are invited to get in touch with Camps Administrator Laura MacAulay as soon as possible.
