I had a sub in the mid 90s and decided that, while there was some interesting articles, it wasn’t good value overall. I have to say The Record has taken a distinct leap in value in the last two or three years and if it disappears from being online I’ll have to take out a sub to get my fix!

Living abroad (I am a missionary working in Siberia) I make a point of downloading the Record.
Speaking on behalf of those non-FCoS readers and all those outwith Scotland, an important aspect of my interest is to keep abreast of Free Church news. Just as Free Kirkers are interested in events outwith your denomination, we are interested in what is going on in Scotland. I doubt I am alone in this.
Also, if you do decide to enforce payment for the online Record please make it easy to arrange. A paper subscription to Siberia would be pointlessly expensive (judging by the cost of our Christmas card campaign this year).
So how do I get to the online Record? I keep logging in but the images still do nothing. I eventually found some old issues down the left column, but no recent ones and it’s very clumsy compared to the old system.
After killing off the very popular but non-PC Message Board now the Record has gone too. Seems you really don’t want outsiders to know anything about the ongoing life of the Free Church!
Why does n’t Rev David Robertson simply concentrate on what he does best i.e defending the faith and refuting Richard Dawkins erroneous therories? He should stop trying to change FC worship and accept that exclusive psalmody without instruments is the historic FC position.
Rev Robertson, please do not try and undo the Scottish reformation.
