Offices

The Free Church headquarters are located on the impressive and enviable ‘Mound’, in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle and overlooking the city. It is a tall narrow building with a well-stocked Christian bookshop on the ground floor and the Free Church Theological College occupying the top section. In between, there are meeting rooms and offices, where the day-to-day administration and financing takes place.

A Guide to the Free Church of Scotland College and Offices by William S. Anderson
Mr W. S. Anderson was employed as College Curator and Office Caretaker for over 20 years. He is an authority on the building and its contents, as well as on the social, civil and eclesiastical history of Edinburgh.

This Guide records some of the information that he has passed on to the many who have enjoyed his tours of the building.
