Communications

The Communications Committee deals with the various branches of the church that are involved in communication!  It oversees any denominational publications through the Knox Press, is responsible for the bookshop, The Monthly Record, Free, the website and the work of the Media Officer, Communications Officer and Bookshop Manager.

The Committee is also charged with promoting the application of new technology within the church where appropriate, and to ensure that there is an efficient flow of information within the church so that decisions and matters of general interest are made as widely known as possible.

We are also responsible for producing materials for education in belief and practice, which is a very broad remit, but one with endless possibilities. The remit of the Public Questions committee now falls under that of Communications. A link to papers produced by the old PQ committee is below.
