College Board
The College Board exists to promote the interests of the College both within and outwith the Free Church and to do what it can to heighten awareness of the Free Church College as a centre of Biblical and Reformed teaching. It is involved in the assessment of staff and student performance and in the appointment of new staff as required. It should encourage the personal and spiritual welfare of staff and students and their interaction.
The Board administers the College's finances and prepares its budgets. It is tasked with reducing the College's dependence on denominational support and seeks to do this by advertising the College programmes of study and attracting more students thus enhancing class fee income. It also seeks to encourage donations to the College Endowment Fund so that the accrued capital would build up to a level which would generate a significant revenue stream and thus ease considerably the call on Central Funds. The Board must submit an annual report of the work of the College to the General Assembly.
